Course Highlights

How do you describe the terrain of the golf course and greens?

Willow Creek features a moderate terrain; you’ll encounter some hills but not enough elevation changes to challenge a good walk of the course.

What kind of condition is the course in at different times during the year?

Golfers will find the course in good condition year-round. We take an aggressive approach to course maintenance, to maintain your pleasure level!

How should I play the first hole ?

Number One is a Par-5, one that can be reached in two by long hitters. But for mere mortals(!) it’s a traditional three-shot hole.

What’s the best Par-5 on the course?

Number Five. The creek at about the 225-250 yards forces a layup for shorter hitters and less likely to be reached in two shots. Long hitters can take a chance and clear the creek if they hit accurately enough, making it a possible two-shot reach.

What’s the best Par-3 on the course?

Hole #3. It’s a scenic hole with lake behind the green. It’s protected by two side bunkers, but short enough to make it an easy reach.

What’s the toughest hole on the golf course?

This is a tough question to answer. It’s truly a matter of opinion, and depends heavily on the individual skill level of the golfer.

What’s the most difficult green on the golf course?

Again, it’s tough to say. It’s a matter of opinion considering level of play. Several holes have potential difficult greens.

Concerning the finishing holes (16, 17 and 18); is this a chance to salvage my round? Is it rough? Fun?

Our finishing holes are comprised of a Par-3, 4, and 5 respectfully. I consider it a tough finishing stretch. #17 is rated as second hardest hole on course.

What’s your “Signature” hole?

That’s the Par-3 Number Three, with a lake behind hole.
